This article is devoted to the problem of state management of the economy as a whole and its separate branches. The emphasis is that it is necessary to develop first of all those spheres of the economy that will contribute to the development of human creativity, and through this, the economy as a whole. The issue of planning the economy and an alternative to centralized planning in the form of self-government is also being considered.

In this article, the focus is not on the development of productive forces and long-term prospects, but on which areas the state should develop in the first place so that the process of improving technologies and the development of productive forces occurs faster.
After all, the development of productive forces, by and large, is inevitable, and they are constantly evolving, creating new perspectives, but at the same time new dangers on the path of human development
